First Korean Language Meeting In Toronto

On October 1, a group of Korean speaking members held their first general meeting at Toronto Culture Centre. Members came from all over the Toronto area and nearby cities including Peterborough. Together with Tony Meers, SGI Canada General Director, they enjoyed the meeting with the theme "Together with Happiness."
The 44 participants included youth and future division members as well as one guest. The meeting was full of youthful energy and passion as many youth had put in their best to prepare for the meeting. After some exciting and joyous games, skits and inspiring experiences, there was a Q&A session with Tony. Through answering the participants questions, Tony helped members understand the profound and fundamental principles in terms of their own faith. At the pot-luck refreshment after the meeting, many Korean members shared their impressions about the meeting as well as determinations for the kosen-rufu of Canada in the future.
